I'm Becca. I came up with the idea of SA earlier today. Taeler is second in charge. @Taeler
You might have some questions, so we came up with some as well as answers.
What is SA?
SA is a group that can get together to work out their spending issues. Anyone can attend and this is a choice, not a 'must.
How long is the process?
However long you would like. There is no time limit for this, this will be a self paced activity but we will all be in this together as a group. - Becca
You have all the time in world to accomplish your goal. This is a self paced activity and you'll never be alone thus having more confidence in succeeding. - Taeler
Why should I?
This is a great way to become less of a spender. If you're someone who's wanting to save up for an ISS, those shop till achievements, or just a heck of a lot of sP, then this is great for you. It will be a long term goal (most likely) but it can be completed whenever you would like. - Becca
Saving up sP is a smart idea for the future. Not only can you accomplish the ultimate subeta goal of being the richest person, but you can also buy more expensive items in the future and not feel bad about it later. I know as a former spender that I felt bad after spending too much when I don't have that sort of sP to spend. - Taeler
What must I do to succeed?
Control your temptation to spend, talk to us and the others who are in this group. If you have the urge to buy something, ask yourself some questions. "Do I really need this item?", "Could I find a better deal somewhere else?", "Will I actually use this?" - Becca
To succeed, you must be convinced that this is what you want to do. If you are not convinced, you won't have the confidence and that means you might quit early. Diffidently ask questions before you buy something. Asking questions minimizes the urge to absolutely spend it all. - Taeler
What do I do if I do spend? How do I punish myself?
You're going through a relapse, haha. Tell us all about it. But what you can do is for the following week don't allow yourself to spend any sP to make up for a sudden splurge.
Don't be hard on yourself though. I'm sure all of us will have problems trying to resist it. I know I've told myself MANY times that I'm just going to go ahead and spend my sP, but I've forced myself not to. I believe that I can get farther. - Becca

Okay, I need to spend on SOMETHING, how much can I spend weekly?
The best way to quit would be to spend none at all. Although you might do quests and such, that's the exception. - Taeler

We're also considering a cult in the future, although its optional if you want to join or not. Some of you probably will already be in cult's or may not like them.
Also, we would like to do a weekly update of how everyone is doing. We could pick a day that would work with everyone it'll just be a little update to see how your going, being on task with this and what not.
Saving your sP can be a fun thing to brag about as well! Using the Bragging forum can boost your confidence and minimize the need to spend with people congratulating you for your job well done. - Taeler

Me too! But I started listening to OC 2 years ago, when there weren't even popular whatsoever. What sorta ticks me off is how Fireflies made him so popular
