Once upon a time there was this stupid-looking item on Subeta of a Longcat. You know, that internet meme thing. Anyway, these people got all pissed off about Subeta having the Longcat item and then crap happened and they hacked the site or something. Something like that. It was a long time ago so I don't remember all the details, but there was a lot of drama and stuff. Yeah. xD

The Longcat was apparently a symbol that 4chan used that Subeta apparently "stole", there was pretty much a whole war with 4chan versus Subeta. It was a pretty scary time.

But yes, I remember all of that... and then some, haha!

Yeah I agree with shatzy. I remember Subeta before there was even HAs, let alone the whole longcat thing. REALLY old Subeta is this thread right here --> [ x ]

I hated when that was going on. I think that was the only time I seriously thought Subeta was done for. But looking back on it I have to admit I did like those donation center give-aways XD [not just that one]

Yes. What? No, no. The site was much, much smaller back then and there weren't as many pet species and the Irion used to be called the Aerie and the Hipottu used to be called Hipposauri or something. xD

I remember buying this

when "subeta.org" changed to "subeta.net". I don't know what happened, just got glad I could get the item soon. I remember having fun with the changing number of SPs, but soon after I moved. xD
But that was like, two or three years ago, I think.

Nevermind, I just saw the title. I can't remember much, I'm only here for a little more than a year... 'xD (feels sheepish)

Ohgoodness, I sometimes miss the old Subeta. It felt so exclusive.
I spent most of my time back in the Oekaki.
Remember when getting a GA got you your own icon to upload? I was all over that.
I sometimes miss the old pets. The serpenth looks absolutely nothing like the original.

I remember when the wardrobe was first created and all the wearables were SUUUUER expensive. And today those items are super cheap. XD And yeah I liked the longcat. And for taking my longcat away all I got was that stupid dragon. *grrr*

Longcat is not the first thing I think of when I think of "old Subeta," but oh well.I've been a member for five years, so I remember before HAs existed, and the forums were so small that I was intimidated to post in them. And how different a lot of the pets looked.
